Wow, we made it through the entire Papertoy Monsters book! It’s been a real fun paper craft adventure. Now on to making our own monsters. But first, to wrap things up we have “The Monster Keepers”, a human brother & sister duo who care for monsters. Since the paper craft is two-sided, an animated gif seemed appropriate.

I’m adding this monster to my favorite list. He took some time to build but was definitely worth it. I just saw “The Amazing Spider-Man” this weekend and there’s a scientist who turns into a lizard, so building this guy was a cool reminder.

This creepy character was a pretty easy build… I like that he holds a pencil… confession… I got creeped out that he had a pentagram on his back… so I cut it out.
Day Forty-Five • Grumpy Gramps

This dude is grumpy! I could just see him yelling at the darn squirrels to get off his lawn and talking about back when he was just a sapling… Oh Gramps. You and your array of fine mustaches bring joy to the forest.
Also… now looking at Tommy’s… I think I put his arms upside down… probably the reason he’s so grumpy today.

Cubetto is a cool fellow (pun intended). His monster ability of being able to melt and refreeze reminds me of the old Nickelodeon show Alex Mack, where she could morph into liquid too.
